HF2769: Judicial Branch Budget

Appropriates $222.3 million to Iowa's judicial branch for salaries, court operations, and juvenile services for fiscal year 2027 (which begins July 1, 2026).  This is no change compared to current budget year.  New funding for: specialty business courts if SF 639 passes ($500,000). No change in funding for:  court-ordered services to juveniles ($3.29 million); school-based supervision for children ($1.56 million); and juvenile delinquent graduated sanctions ($12.25 million). Other changes: requires the Judicial Council to conduct an open session meeting when discussing the Judicial Retirement System.
